- I. Extracting the setup files
-
- The setup files for the Evans Java Toolkit are supplied in a self-extracting file called
- jtk101c.exe.

- a. Installing from a hard drive
-
- To install from a hard disk, copy jtk101c.exe to a new directory. From the new directory
- run the jtk101c.exe program. The setup program and it's related files will be extracted
- to the new directory.

- From the new directory run setup.exe. Follow the on screen instructions.

- b. Installing from a floppy disks

- To create install disks, copy jtk101c.exe to a new directory on your hard drive. From the
- new directory type "jtk101c.exe -d". Two directories, named disk1 and disk2 will be created
- under the current directory.

- Copy the contents of disk1 to a 1.44 mb floppy. This will be install disk 1.
- Copy the contents of disk2 to a 1.44 mb floppy. This will be install disk 2.

- To install the Evans Java Toolkit from floppy disks, place install disk 1 in drive a: and
- type "a:setup".
